SILAB Receives Second Prize for its Active Ingredient INCLUSIUM®

Saint-Viance, July 22, 2024 – On Thursday, July 18, in Shanghai, SILAB’s multifunctional natural active ingredient, INCLUSIUM®, won the prestigious Ringier Technology Innovation Award in the Anti-aging Ingredients category.

Just a few months after receiving the ICIC Award, INCLUSIUM® was once again honored in Asia by being named the winner of the Ringier Technology Innovation Award in the Anti-aging Ingredients category. To develop this active ingredient, SILAB used a unique approach by identifying the main skin characteristics of consumers according to ethnicity, gender, and age. The three major beauty axes that emerge are all driven by biological mechanisms taking effect in the dermis and epidermis. SILAB implemented a large-scale exploratory study using tissue engineering and transcriptomics. Five clinical studies were conducted on mixed gender groups with young and mature volunteers (Caucasian, Asian, Latin-American, and Afro-American).

Brigitte Closs-Gonthier, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of R&D, Quality and Communication at SILAB, comments: “We are proud to receive this new award. It is proof that the transversal efficacy of our active ingredient is drawing the interest of the global cosmetics industry, thanks to its ability to sublimate all skin types.”

INCLUSIUM® meets universal cosmetic expectations thanks to its hydra-smoothing and complexion-perfecting powers as of 7 days of treatment, as well as its clinically proven anti-aging effect.
